About The Position

We are looking for a proactive and analytical Continuous Improvement Engineer to support operational improvement, data-driven decision-making, and reliability-centered maintenance initiatives within a dynamic Integrated Facilities Management environment. This Engineer-level role is focused on transforming operational data into meaningful insights, clear visualizations, and actionable recommendations. The position applies continuous improvement principles, data storytelling, CMMS analytics, Lean/Six Sigma concepts, and foundational reliability practices to identify trends, improve maintenance performance, support process standardization, and help account teams make informed business decisions. The Continuous Improvement Engineer partners with operations, maintenance teams, account leadership, vendors, and client stakeholders to analyze work order, asset, vendor, PM, financial, and KPI data. This role is ideal for an individual with 3–8 years of experience who can connect data to operational outcomes, communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, and support improvement initiatives that reduce waste, improve asset performance, and strengthen customer value.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Operations Management, Facilities Management, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education, technical training, and practical experience.
  • 3–8 years of experience in continuous improvement, operational analytics, facilities management, maintenance operations, reliability, manufacturing, engineering support, business intelligence, or a related environment.
  • Experience analyzing operational or maintenance-related data and converting findings into recommendations.
  • Experience supporting process improvement, KPI reporting, dashboard development, or performance management activities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, data cleanup, Power Query, and trend analysis.
  • Ability to develop dashboards, scorecards, charts, and business summaries that support data storytelling.
  • Ability to interpret operational data, identify patterns, and communicate meaningful insights.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management, and self-management skills.
  • Proactive and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, spelling, grammar, and proofreading.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to support internal and external stakeholder needs.

  • Strong attention to data accuracy, documentation quality, report formatting, and follow-through.
  • Able to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment, prioritize competing tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Shares knowledge, supports team goals, and contributes to a culture of reliability, improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Strong written and verbal command of the English language required. Must be able to communicate technical and analytical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice To Haves

  • CMMS platform experience preferred; Corrigo, Maximo, FEXA, or similar system experience is desirable.
  • Maintenance or facilities operations experience preferred, but not required if the candidate has strong data analytics and continuous improvement experience.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools required or strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with CMMS, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Power Platform tools preferred.
  • Certified Reliability Leader preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred; ability to achieve Green Belt certification within 12 months preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze work order, asset, PM, vendor, SLA, financial, and operational data to identify trends, risks, outliers, and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop clear dashboards, scorecards, summaries, and visual stories that translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Present findings in a concise, compelling format for operations, account teams, leadership, and client stakeholders.
  • Support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps, workflow inefficiencies, recurring issues, and opportunities for standardization.
  • Assist in developing improvement plans, tracking progress, validating results, and communicating outcomes.
  • Help convert lessons learned into repeatable processes, tools, and reporting approaches.
  • Evaluate asset performance, PM effectiveness, reactive work trends, repeat failures, emergency work volume, and bad actor assets.
  • Support PM reviews, failure trend analysis, maintenance optimization, and repair-versus-replace recommendations.
  • Apply foundational reliability principles to improve asset performance and maintenance decision-making.
  • Partner with operations, maintenance, account leadership, vendors, finance, procurement, technology, and client stakeholders.
  • Align data insights with business needs and operational priorities.
  • Communicate analytical findings in plain language to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Support development, maintenance, and improvement of KPI reporting, operational scorecards, business review materials, and account-level performance summaries.
  • Help ensure reporting is accurate, consistent, visually clear, and tied to operational priorities.
  • Perform other duties as deemed necessary by Operations and CI&R leadership, including support for special projects, account initiatives, data validation efforts, and continuous improvement activities.
