About The Position

This position leads the application of a variety of principles, systems, and tools toward the sustainable improvement of key performance metrics. Much of this is based on earlier continuous improvement methodologies, such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Scientific Management. The focus of continuous improvement is toward a long-term change in organizational culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Engineering or closely related field.
  • Minimum five years’ experience in Operational Excellence in automotive manufacturing.
  • Ability to travel domestically by car or plane.
  • Minimum three years’ experience supervising employees.
  • Prior experience in welding and metal fabrication.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Proficient in SAP.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the deployment of continuous improvement at the site assigned (40%)
  • Lead training and improvement activities.
  • Plan and track continuous improvement activities.
  • Conduct all business related activities for, and on the behalf of, Eberspaecher within the limits of applicable local, state, and federal legal requirements.
  • Provide support to, and compliance with, all local and corporate Eberspaecher Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and other HSE related requirements.
  • Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and follows all ENA polices related to TS16949 and ISO 14001; looks for way to improve and promote quality.
  • Other duties as assigned.
