About The Position

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Co‑op to support our Continuous Improvement and Capital Projects functions for the upcoming term. This role is ideal for a student interested in process improvement, operations, reliability, or project management. The Co‑op will gain hands-on experience working directly with our Continuous Improvement and Capital Projects Manager, supporting both day‑to‑day operations and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a college or university program in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, Business, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Comfort working with software platforms; experience with CMMS tools (MaintainX or similar) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate with diverse teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Lean tools, such as 5S, standard work, or value stream mapping.
• Prior internship/co‑op experience in a manufacturing, operations, or project environment.
• Exposure to project management or data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Participate in process improvement activities and support Lean initiatives across the facility.
• Assist with capital project planning, documentation, and progress tracking.
• Conduct research, gather data, and prepare reports or presentations for ongoing projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support meetings, take notes, and follow up on assigned action items.
• Maintain organized records, files, and project documentation.
• Perform general administrative tasks and contribute fresh ideas to team discussions.
