This role supports and executes continuous improvement projects by collecting and analyzing data, identifying improvement opportunities, and assisting with implementation efforts. It involves conducting process audits, monitoring improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with established procedures and operational standards. The role also includes reviewing, updating, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), providing training on new processes and continuous improvement methodologies, analyzing operational performance data, performing root cause analysis, and developing recommendations to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity. Additionally, the role will lead or support Kaizen and SMED events while maintaining a strong presence on the manufacturing floor to collaborate with operators, engineering, and leadership teams.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a STEM related field with 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, SMED, 5S, or similar methodologies
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and root cause analysis skills with the ability to interpret data and drive process improvements
  • Excellent communication, training, and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and data reporting tools
