About The Position

Canpotex is looking for an Analyst, Continuous Improvement to join their Sales and Operations Planning team in Saskatoon. Canpotex is a people-focused organization with diverse and dynamic career development opportunities, and is one of the world's largest suppliers of potash overseas, marketing and delivering Saskatchewan potash to millions of fields and farmers globally. This role will develop and maintain the continuous improvement framework, lead process mapping, act as an operations subject matter expert for system enhancements, complete needs assessments, develop training programs, review operational processes, document best practices, create and maintain KPIs, evaluate emerging technologies, and assist in planning supply chain optimization projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Applied Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum three to five years’ experience in a supply chain, operations management, or related role.
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain processes, and/or business analysis is considered an asset.
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset: Applies an enterprise-wide view of the business to support strategic planning, process management, project governance, and standardization across operations.
  • Process and System Improvement: Identifies and implements improvements to workflows, systems, and best practices to strengthen efficiency, consistency, and operational effectiveness.
  • Clear and Impactful Communication: Communicates ideas, priorities, and technical information clearly through strong listening, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Team Partnership: Works collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to support enterprise alignment, knowledge sharing, and successful delivery of improvement initiatives.
  • Flexibility and Responsiveness: Adapts quickly to shifting priorities, system changes, and operational needs while maintaining progress on deliverables. This may include working non-traditional business hours.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the continuous improvement framework in alignment with corporate objectives and enterprise transformation timelines and requirements.
  • Lead current and future state process mapping to support operational and system transitions.
  • Act as the Operations subject matter expert for system enhancements and smaller IT projects.
  • Complete needs assessments and recommend project and enhancement priorities.
  • Develop training and knowledge-sharing programs to support continuous learning.
  • Review operational processes and company policies to identify opportunities to improve workflows and create efficiencies.
  • Document and standardize best practices and support consistent use of Canpotex systems.
  • Create and maintain KPIs related to system impact, including forecast accuracy, order fulfillment, and system adoption rates.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and methodologies for potential integration into business processes and enterprise systems.
  • Assist in planning and implementing supply chain optimization projects.
