About The Position

Flex is seeking a Continuity Tester for its Fontana, California location. This role will support Axiom, a company focused on critical digital infrastructure and delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications, if the intended spin-off of Flex's Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment occurs. The Continuity Tester is responsible for testing electrical systems and equipment to detect faulty wiring. The position reports to the Production Manager.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
2-4 years of experience in wiring or testing electrical components
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform work accurately
Knowledge of manufacturing, equipment maintenance, and safety management
Reading comprehension skills with the ability to interpret and follow written directions, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Basic math skills to meet technical specifications and measurements

Responsibilities

Inspects wiring of assemblies for accuracy of stripping, soldering, and crimping; look for frayed wires and loose connections
Examines assemblies and wiring of components for completeness of assembly, quality, and conformance to specifications
Tests wiring for relay and control panels to determine continuity
Identify any product defects; record and report them accordingly
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Perform other related duties as assigned
