About The Position

As an expert in defense missions, your unique background inspires you to think bigger, push further, and ask questions others don’t. We need your extensive industry knowledge and advisory skills to solve some of our clients’ most complex problems and find solutions that keep our nation safe. As a Contingency Response (CR) and Air Advisor (AA) Functional Area Manager (FAM) you’ll serve as the primary subject matter expert, readiness advocate, and force provider for all CR and tactical advisory units within the Indo-Pacific Theater. This position is responsible for the health, training, and global employment of specialized "first-in" forces. The position ensures that the 36 CRG is manned and equipped to execute Airbase Opening (ABO), Joint Task Force Port Opening (JTF-PO), Agile Combat Employment (ACE), and Building Partnership Capacity (BPC) missions, acting as the critical link between Air Staff policy and theater-specific operational execution. You'll serve as the principal advisor to PACAF leadership on the readiness, posture and deployment of CRG assets. Monitor manning and equipment levels as compared to AMC "parent unit" requirements and advocate for resources during the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) cycle. Develop and maintain PACAF CR Unit Type Codes (UTCs) in DCAPES and validate requirements for theater exercises and real-world contingencies. Work with us to lead the functional management for Tactical Advisory Squadrons and coordinate with PACAF A5I, including International Affairs, to align Air Advisor deployments with the Theater Security Cooperation Plan (TSCP). Synchronize CR and Air Advisor capabilities into major regional exercises and ensure teams are properly tasked to support partner-nation aviation enterprise development. Implement policy by authoring MAJCOM-level guidance and supplements to DAF and AMC instructions governing CR and AA operations, ensuring they reflect the unique logistical challenges of the PACOM AOR. Further your career while creating mission-forward solutions that matter. Join us. The world can’t wait.
