We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Contents Technician to join our team. This position involves helping homeowners and businesses safely pack, inventory, transport, and handle personal belongings following property damage or emergency situations.

Requirements

Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
Ability to safely drive a 26-foot box truck.
Must be able to lift, carry, load, and unload furniture and boxes.
Strong attention to detail, especially when inventorying and labeling items.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
Professional attitude and good communication skills.
Must be willing to respond to emergency calls when scheduled.

Nice To Haves

Previous moving, restoration, warehouse, packing, or contents-handling experience is a plus.
Mitigation or Restoration experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Pack and carefully protect household contents into boxes and containers.
Inventory and document contents accurately.
Label and organize boxes and household items for storage or return.
Load and unload furniture, boxes, and other contents.
Safely operate and drive a 26-foot box truck.
Assist with moving and handling furniture and other large or heavy items.
Maintain an organized and clean work area.
Follow company procedures for handling customers' personal belongings.
Provide professional and courteous service to customers during stressful situations.
Be available for on-call emergency services when needed.
Work in homes and properties that may have experienced water, fire, smoke, or other damage.
