About The Position

SERVPRO Team Doyle is hiring an entry-level, full-time, field-based Contents Technician to work with homeowners and business owners after property damage events. The technician evaluates, inventories, packs, cleans, transports, and restores customers’ personal belongings at customer locations and at the company’s facility. This is an active, hands-on role requiring compassionate customer service, careful handling of property, detailed documentation, and close collaboration with team members and job superintendents. The position offers $20.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience, and a $1,200 sign-on bonus payable after completion of the probationary period. The company provides hands-on training, industry certifications, and pathways for advancement, including opportunities to promote from within. Team Doyle is a diverse team of more than 100 professionals operating six SERVPRO franchises across Northeastern Pennsylvania.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds, stand, bend, and move continuously throughout the workday.
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Friendly, empathetic, personable customer-service approach and strong communication skills.
Careful, organized handling of clients’ property.
Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment and perform active field-based work.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the moving industry, restoration industry, logistics, or warehouse environments.

Responsibilities

Work at customer locations to handle, inventory, pack, and transport personal contents and belongings.
Provide compassionate, high-quality customer service to clients during challenging times.
Clean, deodorize, and restore contents at the company facility or on-site.
Organize packed items and maintain detailed records and documentation using mobile software.
Collaborate with team members and job superintendents to complete projects safely, efficiently, and carefully.
Keep work trucks, equipment, and job sites clean and well-maintained.
