About The Position
PuroClean Restoration Specialists is looking for a Contents Technician to help customers recover after water, fire, and mold damage. When someone's home is damaged, their belongings often need to be carefully packed, documented, cleaned, stored, and eventually returned. Our customers are often overwhelmed. We need someone who can connect with people, show empathy, and handle their belongings with care and respect. Restoration experience is not required. We will train the right person.
Requirements
- Self-motivated and can work independently once you understand what needs to be done.
- Sense of urgency and keep moving without needing constant direction.
- Warm and good with people. You understand that our customers are often going through a difficult time.
- Detail-oriented. Labels, inventories, photos, documentation, and organization matter to you.
- Process-oriented and understand the importance of following procedures consistently.
- Team player who is willing to jump in and help wherever needed.
- Take ownership of your responsibilities and follow through.
- Can adapt when priorities change and maintain a positive attitude.

- Restoration experience is not required.
Responsibilities
- Carefully pack and protect customers' belongings.
- Photograph, label, inventory, and track contents.
- Transport contents to and from our warehouse.
- Clean and deodorize belongings affected by water, smoke, soot, and other contaminants.
- Maintain accurate job documentation.
- Keep customer contents properly labeled and organized in our warehouse.
- Assist with returning belongings to customers' homes.
- Communicate with customers and team members throughout the process.
- Follow company procedures and safety requirements.
