About The Position

Revel is building the software infrastructure that controls the world’s most critical hardware systems—across aerospace, energy, and advanced manufacturing. Our platform replaces outdated tooling with a modern, high-performance stack for commanding, monitoring, and deploying real-world systems. Engineers rely on Revel to operate hardware where safety, speed, reliability, and clarity matter. As we scale, we are looking for a Content Marketing Writer to help us tell the story of how our software empowers the engineers building the future of "Hard Tech."

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in copywriting, content marketing, journalism, or PR (exceptional junior candidates with 1–2 years of experience and strong fit will be considered).
  • Proven ability to understand and write about "Hard Tech" or highly technical domains (aerospace, defense, engineering, industrial software, etc).
  • A clear understanding of how content fits into a broader marketing funnel and brand strategy.
  • A high capacity for learning a complex technical domain quickly and authoring credible content.
  • To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicants must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience at a high-growth startup or in the aerospace/defense industry.
  • Experience managing corporate social media channels and building an audience.
  • Background in Public Relations or Executive Communications or Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside sharp engineers to digest complex technical updates and translate them into readable, engaging content for both technical and executive audiences.
  • Partner with customers and our test engineers to draft impactful case studies and testimonials that demonstrate Revel’s real-world impact.
  • Build a steady drumbeat of content: customer case studies, product announcements, company milestones, and thought leadership that highlight Revel’s momentum.
  • Transform core insights and long-form content into various marketing assets, such as social posts, blogs, and conference session topics.
  • Report to marketing leadership while collaborating closely with designers for graphics, product teams for launches, and engineers for technical accuracy.
