BURST is seeking a Content Strategist to own the strategic thinking behind the company's content. This role involves determining what content to create, why it will be effective, where it will be distributed, and how it will contribute to business growth. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Content Strategist will translate product launches, clinical credibility, customer insights, and cultural moments into engaging content. This is not a traditional social media manager position; the focus is on strategy and direction, collaborating with creative agencies, paid media, retention teams, ambassador programs, retail teams, and external partners to ensure a consistent brand voice across all platforms. The role requires briefing creative teams to develop concepts that can be adapted for organic posts, creator videos, and performance ads, ensuring all content serves multiple purposes. Key responsibilities include developing and managing the content calendar across owned, earned, and organic channels, aligning content with product launches, partnerships, retail events, and community initiatives. The strategist will craft content for various audiences, write briefs, scripts, and copy, and maintain brand consistency. They will own the organic strategy for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest, adapting content to each platform's unique characteristics. Building a repeatable organic growth engine through testing and scaling successful formats is crucial. The role also involves leveraging the dental professional Ambassador community for user-generated content, expert insights, and creator collaborations, and telling the story of BURST Labs. Creative direction will be provided to internal and external teams, focusing on concepts, shot lists, and mood boards. Content will be shaped for D2C sites, Amazon listings, and A+ content, with a focus on SEO and AI-search discoverability. The strategist will also supply retention teams with content themes for email and SMS campaigns, ensuring message consistency across all channels. Creative briefs will be developed for both organic and paid use, with collaboration with the paid media team to ensure brand strategy alignment and leverage organic learnings. Performance data will be used to refine strategy, and AI-assisted workflows will be implemented to enhance content quality and speed while maintaining brand voice. Compliance with FTC disclosure guidelines and ensuring accurate claims will also be part of the role.
