Content Strategist

Charta HealthSan Francisco, CA

About The Position

Charta Health is seeking a strategic and execution-minded Content Strategist to own the full lifecycle of their content ecosystem, from insight to asset to reach. The role involves transforming market insights into high-performing content, atomizing core assets into derivative content for various channels, and managing distribution strategies. The Content Strategist will work closely with Product Marketing, translate insights into compelling content, and build a modern media machine. This role offers creative freedom, writer support, and a vendor budget to execute content strategies. The Content Strategist will be responsible for partnering with Product Marketing to extract buyer insights, positioning, and messaging, and translating them into compelling core content such as webinars, ebooks, and whitepapers. They will build atomization strategies to turn each core asset into multiple derivative, channel-specific touchpoints, writing high-engagement derivative content and directing contractor writers. The role also involves owning the distribution blueprint, deciding on publication strategies to maximize organic reach and discoverability, and monitoring performance to refine choices. Additionally, the Content Strategist will translate core content into social copy for internal sharing and serve as the primary point of contact for external creative vendors, ensuring high-quality, on-brand production.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in content marketing, content strategy, or B2B content production; B2B SaaS/tech experience a major plus.
  • Experience partnering with product marketing or subject matter experts to translate technical or complex detail into buyer-facing narrative and messaging.
  • Proven track record of turning one piece of content into a multi-channel campaign, with examples ready to show.
  • Strong writing across formats, from long-form core assets to short-form social copy, with an editorial eye for what makes a clip, post, or blog actually perform.
  • Deep familiarity with modern B2B distribution channels, primarily LinkedIn, but also YouTube, newsletters, and SEO-driven blogs.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product Marketing to extract buyer insights, positioning, and messaging, and translate them into compelling core content (webinars, ebooks, whitepapers, etc.) that buyers actually want to consume.
  • Build atomization strategies that turn each core asset into dozens of derivative, channel-specific touchpoints, writing high-engagement derivative content yourself and directing contractor writers to help scale output.
  • Own the distribution blueprint: decide how, when, and where core and derivative content publishes to maximize organic reach and discoverability, and monitor performance to continuously refine format and channel choices.
  • Translate core content into ready-to-share social copy that leadership and internal teams can post to their own networks.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external video, creative, and design vendors, ensuring high-quality, on-brand production across all outsourced assets.
