The Police Athletic League (PAL) of New York City is an independent youth development nonprofit organization serving children and young adults across all five boroughs since 1914. PAL offers diverse programs including Head Start, after-school programs, summer day camps, teen centers, college readiness programs, youth employment, and juvenile justice programs, with a strong emphasis on sports. PAL is seeking Content Specialists to enhance its out-of-school programming, which may serve Elementary to High School youth through various focus areas like SEL, STEM, Literacy, Sports, Arts, Mental Health, and College and Career Access. This role is a key part of the leadership team, reporting directly to the Program Director, and is responsible for supporting frontline staff in the effective implementation of program activities to ensure program quality. Familiarity with SACC regulations and DYCD funding requirements is advantageous. The ideal candidates will be dedicated to learning and implementing Best Practices in youth development, supportive of youth, staff, and community ideas, possess excellent communication and listening skills, and work collaboratively to support PAL's programming city-wide.
