About The Position

We're seeking a Content & Social Media Strategist based in our New York office to lead the storytelling and creative expression behind social and digital channels. This role is ideal for someone who combines creative instinct with strategic thinking—someone who understands how to translate brand identity, voice, and vision into content that builds connection, strengthens brand awareness, and drives growth. You'll own organic content strategy from concept to execution, creating compelling, platform-native content across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube. Working closely with the marketing team, you'll ensure content aligns with product launches, campaigns, and key brand moments while supporting broader business goals. We're looking for someone who lives and breathes content—constantly generating ideas, spotting trends, testing creative angles/hooks, and finding new ways to capture attention. As a core part of this role, you'll regularly create both short-form and long-form video content, serving as one of the creative voices behind the brand. The ideal candidate balances creativity with performance, combining strong storytelling instincts with a deep understanding of what resonates with audiences and drives results.

Requirements

  • A proven content creator with a strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to concept, shoot, edit, and publish high-performing content across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Pinterest.
  • A natural storyteller with strong communication skills, creative instincts, and visual taste, who understands how to create content that captures attention, builds emotional connection, and drives engagement.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, content formats, audience behavior, and emerging trends, with the ability to consistently generate fresh ideas and identify opportunities for breakout content performance.
  • Comfortable appearing on camera and serving as one of the faces of the brand, while confidently creating content in a fast-paced environment using an iPhone and other creator tools.
  • Highly organized, proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong commercial awareness and an understanding that content should support both brand building and business growth.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and a willingness to leverage them to improve productivity, streamline workflows, and enhance content creation.

  • Experience in jewelry, fashion, beauty, luxury, lifestyle, or e-commerce brands is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own annual, quarterly, and monthly content calendar, ensuring content is strategically aligned with product launches, marketing campaigns, seasonal promotions, and key brand moments.
  • Plan, create, and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube, including static, short-form, and long-form video content. Content may include product storytelling, design inspiration, gemstone education, customer love stories, brand narratives, behind-the-scenes content, lifestyle and educational videos.
  • Collaborate closely with the Growth Marketing Manager creating content for ads in multiple channels, Retention Marketing Specialist, and Graphic Designer to develop content that supports customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and overall business objectives.
  • Write captions, scripts, hooks, and creative briefs while continuously testing content formats, storytelling angles, and creative concepts. Use performance data and audience insights to optimize content effectiveness and maximize engagement, shareability, and organic reach.
  • Repurpose original content and user-generated content (UGC) across social media, email marketing, paid advertising, and other marketing channels to maximize reach, impact, and content efficiency.
  • Stay ahead of platform trends, algorithm updates, cultural moments, and emerging content formats. Proactively bring fresh content ideas that feel native to each platform, identify opportunities for breakout content performance, and maintain alignment with premium brand positioning.
