Sunrun, a leader in home solar and battery solutions, is seeking a skilled Content Marketing Manager to shape its brand narrative and drive business growth. This role involves strategic planning, hands-on content creation across various channels, and collaboration with internal teams. The ideal candidate will be a versatile storyteller and strategist who can translate complex technical concepts into compelling benefits for homeowners, ultimately influencing market perception and customer acquisition.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional writing experience in content marketing, copywriting, journalism, or an agency role.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly grasp complex concepts (solar technology, battery storage, home energy management) and translate them into clear, compelling benefits for homeowners.
  • Proven track record of full-funnel content creation with a diverse portfolio (long-form educational pieces, social copy, high-converting landing pages).
  • Experience tying content to growth metrics, including KPIs for lead generation, conversions, or revenue.
  • Comfortable using CMS platforms and leveraging AI productivity tools for research and outlining while maintaining original, human quality in final copy.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leaders across the company to identify, prioritize, and plan content needs supporting product launches, campaigns, and demand generation goals.
  • Write, draft, and develop high-quality content for diverse channels, including video scripts, sales one-pagers, customer-facing collateral, and landing page/app copy.
  • Collaborate with internal design and video production teams to guide creative assets from copy draft to final delivery.
  • Oversee and execute content distribution through effective channels to reach target audiences.
  • Track, measure, and analyze content performance, using data to refine content strategy.
