About The Position

At DIRECTV, we’re redefining the future of entertainment, delivering innovative video experiences that connect people to content anytime, anywhere. Join a team that’s shaping the next generation of media and entertainment as a Summer Intern within the Content team. You will help shape the programming lineup across DIRECTV Satellite and Internet platforms, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to projects that directly impact the business. Interns will be placed in one of four focus areas based on interests and background: Content Strategy & Development, Content Contracts & Compliance, Content & Programming, or Content Development.

Requirements

• Open to all majors
• A passion for the entertainment industry (especially the business or technology side)
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Experience working in cross-functional environments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• A proactive, self-motivated mindset with a desire to learn and grow
• Must have full U.S. work authorization now and in the future

Responsibilities

• Analyze data
• Conduct benchmarking and research
• Build dashboards and deliver presentations
• Support cross-functional initiatives
• Assist with new database software implementation
• Conduct data audits and support data migration
• Review contracts and summarize key findings
• Analyze channel performance, marketing, and competition
• Support project management and reporting
• Assist with third-party authentication audits
• Automate Excel workflows and analyze channel data
• Competitive intelligence research and summarization
• Conceptualize new feature functionality

Benefits
