About The Position

Intelligent Investing is building an institution that documents the reality of capital allocation, with content that is precise and made to be respected for years. The role involves taking strong observations and clear directions to create finished work at a high standard, under the guidance of a senior designer. This is a craft role focused on making things well and often. The output includes posters, carousels, Signals, essay layouts, and variations of approved concepts. The role also involves managing the publishing calendar, monitoring performance across channels, listening to audience feedback, and reporting on engagement metrics. The aesthetic standard is described as realistic, competent, and restrained, focusing on what is left out and avoiding hype or urgency. The form must match the substance, and the candidate must be able to differentiate between 'calm-and-alive' and 'calm-and-dead' work.

Requirements

• A body of finished, made work (not decks about work).
• Command of typography, composition, crop, and grade held to a cinematic bar.
• Fluent use of AI for drafting, layout, and variations, with personal judgment over craft and final quality.
• Ability to create quiet work that still lands, knowing what to leave out.
• Literacy to serve the idea, including laying out written observations without flattening them.
• Ability to take direction without needing every decision spelled out.
• Hunger and speed to make a lot of excellent work and get sharper fast.
• References that fit the world of Michael Mann, A24, Wieden+Kennedy, Apple, The Economist.
• An instinct to 'make it undeniable and say less', rather than 'make it pop'.

Responsibilities

• Turn strong observations and clear directions into finished work, including posters, image posts, carousels, and typeset Signals.
• Create layouts for essays and short films that read like a publication.
• Produce fast, clean variations of approved concepts for testing and distribution.
• Maintain and organize the library of templates, source material, and reusable creative.
• Manage the publishing calendar and schedule across all channels.
• Monitor how content performs, noting what earns saves and shares, which content returns visitors, and what falls flat.
• Listen to the audience for recurring questions, objections, and language, and use this feedback to inform future content.
• Flag customer, product, or sensitive issues to the appropriate person quickly.
• Deliver a weekly performance report covering engagement, saves, shares, follower growth, return visits, and key drivers of results.
