We're hiring an onsite Content Creator who can capture the heart and soul of what we do. From high-impact video clips on TikTok to long-form stories on YouTube, you’ll create compelling content that showcases the raw energy of Western Welding Academy—and drives engagement across all our digital channels. This is more than a creative role—it’s a frontline position in our mission to reignite respect for skilled trades.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong desire to be part of a team making a difference in building a better generation

Nice To Haves

  • 0-3 years of experience in social media content creation or a similar field
  • Deep understanding of major platforms: TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Strong skills in video editing, storytelling, and platform-specific trends

Responsibilities

  • Create, film, edit, and publish engaging content for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and other platforms
  • Capture video of student life, welding demos, tutorials, testimonials, and events
  • Produce written and visual content for blogs, email campaigns, web pages, and marketing collateral
  • Rapidly implement new platform trends, tools, formats, and sounds
  • Maintain a minimum two-week pipeline of content ready to publish
  • Manage daily content posting across platforms
  • Repost influencer content and tag collaborators appropriately
  • Engage with followers—respond to comments and direct messages
  • Monitor discussions and maintain a positive, respectful brand environment
  • Work closely with marketing and creative teams to align content with strategic goals
  • Provide creative input and participate in brainstorms
  • Communicate timelines, progress, and content needs clearly and proactively
  • Proofread and review all content for accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency
  • Monitor content performance using platform metrics and analytics
  • Use performance data to refine and improve content strategy
