About The Position

Bree is a consumer finance platform that provides Canadians with quick, affordable short-term liquidity, avoiding the high fees and interest associated with traditional payday loans. With hundreds of thousands of users and rapid growth fueled by a robust paid acquisition strategy across platforms like Meta and TikTok, Bree is seeking a Content Creator. This role is for someone passionate about content, storytelling, and internet culture, aiming to build the next generation of Bree's content. The Content Creator (Paid + Organic) will be responsible for producing high-performing short-form video content for both paid advertisements and organic social media. Working closely with the Creative Strategy team, this individual will research competitor ads, develop creative concepts, and shoot user-generated content (UGC)-style videos weekly. Additionally, they will contribute to building Bree's organic presence on TikTok and Instagram by experimenting with various formats, storytelling techniques, and viral strategies. This flexible, part-time role (10-15 hours/week) emphasizes experimentation, iteration, and learning to identify effective content strategies.

Requirements

  • Obsessed with content and viral internet culture
  • Strong understanding of TikTok / Reels content playbooks
  • Comfortable filming yourself on camera
  • Strong storytelling instincts and ability to craft engaging narratives quickly
  • High agency, you take ownership and move quickly without waiting for direction
  • Strategic thinker who understands how creative drives growth
  • Experience with short-form editing tools (CapCapCut, TikTok editor, etc.)
  • Organized and reliable with weekly deliverables

Responsibilities

  • Shoot 3 UGC-style ad concepts per week for paid campaigns
  • Film short-form video content for Meta, TikTok, and other performance channels
  • Create, film, and edit 3 organic pieces of content per week for Bree's Instagram and TikTok
  • Research competitor ads, viral formats, and emerging content trends
  • Develop and pitch new creative concepts and storytelling formats
  • Collaborate with the Creative Strategy team to test hooks, formats, and messaging
  • Help build and evolve Bree’s organic social presence
