About The Position
Metricool is seeking a passionate Content Creator & Social Media Manager to manage its German and French markets. This is a 100% remote role within a fast-growing international company. The primary mission is to connect Metricool with social media managers, agencies, and businesses in German- and French-speaking markets. The role involves adapting global content for local audiences, creating original content, managing communities, and contributing to the social media strategy. The position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by localizing content, managing editorial calendars, recording videos, analyzing market trends, and supporting growth initiatives. The first month will focus on learning the product and brand, followed by taking ownership of community management and content adaptation. Within the first quarter, the individual will manage German and French calendars, produce videos, and contribute local ideas. The long-term goal is to establish truly localized German channels and become the reference for the DACH market.
Requirements
- Based in Spain.
- At least 2 years of experience in content creation or social media management.
- Experience in community management, or a clear interest in it.
- Native German, with excellent writing skills.
- Advanced English (C1), our team’s working language.
- Strong copywriting in German for social media: hooks, captions, CTAs and comment replies, with the ability to adapt to an established brand voice.
- Natural on-camera presence in German.
- Good knowledge of LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube and their formats and trends.
- Proactivity and initiative.
- Autonomy and sound judgment.
- Organization and time management to handle two languages across three networks.
- Cultural sensitivity to adapt tone, references and messages to each market.
- Collaborative attitude to work remotely in an international team.
Nice To Haves
- Experience creating B2B or SaaS content for the German market is highly valued.
- Degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism or a related field is a plus.
- French is a strong plus: a native or high C1 level would allow you to record in French too, while a B2–C1 level is enough for community management and post adaptation.
- Experience recording for social media or YouTube is a plus.
- A portfolio of posts, content examples or social accounts you have managed is a nice to have.
Responsibilities
- Be the daily voice of Metricool in German and French on LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube: reply to comments and messages, moderate conversations, and flag product questions and feedback to the right teams.
- Adapt English and Spanish posts into German and French, localizing hooks, examples, references and CTAs so they feel native.
- Keep the German and French editorial calendars up to date, aligned with the Social Media Team Leader and the global content plan.
- Record videos in German (and in French, if level allows): short videos for social every week and long-form videos for YouTube every month, adapting scripts and reviewing edits for language accuracy.
- Spot local trends, formats and competitors in DACH and French-speaking markets and bring fresh ideas to the social plan.
- Support the Growth team’s German influencer campaigns and Ads with content and language review.
- Work closely with the Social Media, YouTube and Growth teams and our video editor to ensure German and French content aligns with Metricool’s goals.
- Become the go-to reference for the DACH market inside the Content and Growth teams.
- Share ideas, learnings and best practices in team brainstorming sessions.
