About The Position

The Content Creation Specialist is the ‘face’ of CCS, creating and appearing in videos and social media content that represents the meaningful work our organization does in a way that resonates with Canadians. Your role will be to use your graphic design, video editing, and content creation skills to create engaging content that draws consumer attention and supports awareness of the organization and its impact. Your role is a key component of our overall marketing and awareness strategy, working collaboratively with other members of the Marketing & Community Engagement team.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field (ideally business or communications).
  • Two to three years of experience in marketing, social media content creation, video production, and/or graphic design.
  • Strong understanding of and interest in multiple social media platforms (e.g., X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
  • Excellent oral and exceptional written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
  • Well-organized and self-motivated.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • High proficiency in computer office applications (e.g. Microsoft Office Products like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite [Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, Indesign]).
  • Fluency in French is an asset.
