About The Position

Jim Coleman Automotive is seeking a creative, motivated, and dependable Content Creation Assistant to help bring their dealerships and community involvement to life through engaging social media content. This part-time role offers the opportunity to build a professional marketing portfolio, gain hands-on experience in content creation and social media marketing, attend dealership and community events, learn about brand marketing across multiple automotive brands, and grow skills in photography, videography, graphic design, and digital content creation. There is also potential for growth into a full-time position.

Requirements

• Creative and passionate about content creation and social media
• Comfortable using a smartphone or camera to capture high-quality photo and video content
• Organized with strong attention to detail
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team
• Friendly, professional, and eager to learn
• Reliable and dependable

Nice To Haves

• CapCut or similar video editing software
• Canva or similar graphic design software
• Photography and/or videography
• Social media content creation
• Meta Business Suite (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality photo and video content at dealership locations and community events
• Film vehicle walkarounds, employee spotlights, dealership activities, customer deliveries, and behind-the-scenes content
• Create engaging Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, and other short-form video content
• Edit videos using CapCut or similar editing software
• Create graphics using Canva or similar design platforms
• Organize and maintain photo and video libraries
• Upload completed content to the content calendar for management approval
• Schedule approved content for publication
• Assist in maintaining an organized content calendar
• Stay up to date with social media trends and creative content ideas
• Ensure content aligns with Jim Coleman Automotive's brand standards
• Attend dealership events, sponsorships, career fairs, charity events, and community partnerships
• Capture photo and video content during events
• Assist with event setup and breakdown when needed
• Help showcase Jim Coleman Automotive's involvement within the community
