About The Position

The Containment Team Lead is responsible for verifying each part meets the requirements as stated on the Visual Aid, notifying the correct personnel if a NG condition is found, pulling parts to the sort area, labeling, updating the shipments boards, and confirming inventory levels both finished goods and parts to be inspected.

Requirements

Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, etc.)
PPE as required per department (Saf-001)
On the job training
IATF 16949 Overview
QAD / Eagle
MQ1
Must be able to sit, reach above shoulders, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Must be able to lift 40 lbs. on a consistent basis.
Must be able to work overtime as needed, 10 hour or 12-hour shifts.
Must be able to stand 10 – 12 hours daily.
Must have physical dexterity.

Nice To Haves

Manufacturing experience preferred but not necessary.
Previous experience in the containment area preferred but not necessary.
High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure all Part Inspectors have parts available to sort.
Ensure all Part Inspectors have correct visual aids to use during inspection
Print Labels
Update the shipment boards.
Confirm inventory levels of both finished goods and parts to be inspected.
Must be able to follow verbal instructions.
Must be able to inspect parts and ensure quality standards.
Must be able to meet production standards.
Must maintain a safe, clean work area.
Must possess the skills to be cross trained within the assembly areas.
Must possess a team attitude.
Responsible for reporting non-conforming product to WCM.
Must complete daily documentation to record Acceptable and non-conforming product.
Knowledge of safety rules and regulations is required.
All other duties as assigned.
