About The Position

A Laborer safely and efficiently performs general labor duties at a hauling company, transfer station, recycling center, or landfill. Duties may include yard cleanup, fueling vehicles and equipment, operating general site vehicles and equipment, and performing general office maintenance and repairs. The position may also include other job-related duties as assigned. The listed compensation is $29.31 per hour.

Requirements

• Safely and efficiently perform assigned responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Clean up work areas.
• Fuel vehicles and equipment.
• Clean tracks on track-type and related equipment.
• Perform yard work, including mowing and paper pickup.
• Operate general site vehicles and equipment, such as water trucks, pickup trucks, sweepers, mowers, and trimming equipment.
• Perform general office maintenance and repairs, including painting and janitorial work.
• Install temporary wind fences as required.
• Direct traffic at the site as necessary.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
