Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to learn repair techniques and operate various tools.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials and equipment as needed.
• Basic understanding of hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail in identifying and supporting repair needs.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in general labor, construction, or maintenance is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled technicians with repairing, welding, and refurbishing shipping containers to meet safety and operational standards.
• Clean, sand, paint, and prepare containers for repair or refurbishment.
• Support inspections for damage, rust, or structural weaknesses and help identify necessary repairs.
• Assist with minor repairs, including patching holes, replacing gaskets or seals, and basic mechanical or structural adjustments.
• Safely and responsibly operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment under supervision.
• Follow safety protocols, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and participate in safety training as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and remove debris and waste materials after completing tasks.
