About The Position

Education at Work (E@W) is hiring Intuit Product Specialist Interns for the upcoming tax season. You’ll represent Intuit (the makers of TurboTax) as an employee of E@W, helping customers by answering questions, troubleshooting, and making their experience as smooth as possible, all while gaining real-world customer service and tech support skills. We’ll provide the training —just bring your communication skills, willingness to learn, and a positive attitude!

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a degree-granting college or university program.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to write and speak clearly, while showing empathy on every call.
• Ability to understand each customer’s situation and recommend solutions that fit their needs.
• Ability to stay calm, resilient, and professional, even when helping stressed or frustrated customers.
• Ability to keep up-to-date on product updates and tax season changes so you can confidently assist customers.
• Ability to research and analyze situations to find the best solutions for customers’ needs.
• Ability to stay focused in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• Be a quick thinker who asks good questions to find answers fast.
• Be dependable with your schedule (overtime available when needed!).

Responsibilities

• Work alongside dedicated mentors and leaders to build core professional skills and exposure to a fast-paced environment, while making a direct contribution to Intuit's corporate performance.
• Help customers use TurboTax by providing friendly, professional service over the phone.
• Follow company policies and best practices to solve problems, troubleshoot issues, and answer customers' tax-related product questions.
• Create positive customer experiences by being empathetic, patient, and confident.
