About The Position

The Analyst, Payment Operations will support the strategy, setup, governance, and optimization of the company’s global merchant acquiring infrastructure. This role will assist in establishing and maintaining Merchant IDs (MIDs), generating reports to analyze payment acceptance costs and authorization performance, and ensuring operational excellence across all payment channels.

Requirements

  • 1–3+ years of experience in operations, payments, or financial services.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large transactional datasets and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and quality, with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Excel, SQL, or business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the company’s Merchant ID (MID) structure across brands, channels, and geographies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on a quarterly basis to review and optimize the company’s payment and MID structure, supporting cost efficiency and improved authorization performance.
  • Coordinate ongoing touchpoints with the FHI Business Development team to gather insights on the pipeline for new payment partner relationships, supporting proactive optimization and strategy.
  • Generate, maintain, and analyze reports and dashboards to track payment processing costs, authorization performance, and operational trends.
  • Support onboarding, setup, and ongoing maintenance of merchant accounts, gateways, and acquiring relationships.
  • Serve as a point of contact for day-to-day payment issues, collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain and update standard operating procedures for all payment partner relationships.
