As Consumer Marketing Director, HIV Treatment, Long-Acting Injectable, you will lead DTC creative and media strategy, execution, and measurement. Our candidate should have a passion for marketing and the ability to work across multiple stakeholders and external agency partners. We are looking for a strong business owner to leverage data to make smart strategic choices and media allocations that will generate results. You will manage a team of 3 marketing managers, and a large budget. The role reports to the Sr Director Consumer Marketing ViiV Healthcare. This role will be based out of Durham, NC is eligible for a domestic relocation package.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree & 4 plus years of pharmaceutical experience to include Marketing OR Commercial roles
  • Experience managing and leading campaigns, media plans, and marketing budget
  • Experience leading direct reports, matrix teams, and agencies
  • Experience navigating within promotional review processes

Nice To Haves

  • Direct to Consumer Pharma Marketing experience; experience with specialty pharmaceuticals/ injectables a plus
  • Graduate Degree level (e.g., MBA) or equivalent experience
  • Marketing competencies including insights, positioning, segmentation, consumer journey, competitive understanding, positioning, strategy, brief development, media/campaign planning and orchestration, measurement and optimization
  • Experience building consensus and influencing others, presenting to senior leadership, prioritization, and proactive risk management

Responsibilities

  • Effectively partner with brand teams and matrix partners to help meet brand objectives
  • Develop effective consumer/patient strategies, campaigns and tactics to drive brand growth throughout the patient journey
  • Manage media plans to ensure effective and efficient investment
  • Measure and continually optimize all investments; effectively manage large budget
  • Ensure effective relationships with multiple agencies (creative, media, and patient ambassadors), and build collaboration and integration across agency teams
  • Lead and develop team of Marketing Managers
