About The Position

In this role, you will sell, process, and service consumer loan. The position collaborates closely with the Manager and support centre staff supporting all 1FFC state branches. The Consumer Loan Specialist is knowledgeable of features of products and services to drive an exceptional customer experience.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years consumer finance or related experience
  • Serving our customers by working onsite at the Branch Office Support Center (BOSC) is an essential function of this job (working from home is not permitted under any circumstances)
  • Ability to meet current Licensing requirements of various States and Federal regulators.
  • Demonstrate the ability to analyse relevant information and apply individual judgement.
  • Advance interpersonal relationship skills at a variety of levels and differing social and business settings.
  • Ability to maintain confidential business and personal information.
  • Action and result focused.
  • Effective communication skills (verbal/written/interpersonal)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite Products
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to operate an automobile

Responsibilities

  • Markets for new loans to existing and new customers through solicitation calls
  • Educate and upsell customers on all product offerings including loan options and optional insurance products.
  • Process loan applications, ensuring completeness and accuracy, to determine customer eligibility.
  • Assist every customer in a professional manner.
  • Conducts monthly quality control reviews on the overall 1FFC loan portfolio
  • Review and collect on delinquent accounts to identify and address trends or problems.
  • Proactively address delinquent accounts by consulting with customers on past-due loan payments
  • Processes modification requests
  • Accurately posts all operations support centre payments, including but not limited to mail, electronic, repo payments, and debt sales.
  • Prepares daily bank deposit, balancing cash drawers each day.
  • Processing paid out contracts, and releasing liens in a timely manner, according to state law and company guidelines.
