The Consumer Loan Processor/Commercial Assistant plays a key role in supporting both the consumer and commercial banking teams by ensuring loans are processed accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements. This position is responsible for collecting, reviewing, and validating consumer loan applications and documentation, preparing loan documents, assembling closing packages, and maintaining clear communication with internal partners throughout the process. The role also supports commercial banking functions by managing financial reporting and covenant tracking, monitoring reports, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with bankers and processors to resolve outstanding items. In addition, this position processes paid loans in accordance with regulatory and record retention standards, ensures timely releases and accurate file maintenance, and stays current on compliance requirements and policy updates. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency with banking systems, and a solid understanding of regulations such as BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, AML, BOIP, CIP, HMDA, and FHLB reporting. Requirements
