About The Position

This position is responsible for reviewing HELOC closing documents for accuracy and completeness once the loan has been closed and signed by all parties at the closing table. An additional responsibility for this position is booking loans to the loan origination system following the recission period and ensuring documents reach the imaging system, Image Center. The position is responsible for sending completed credit line mortgage documents for recording purposes, as well as receiving and tracking the original signed closing document packages and recorded documents. This position provides support to all internal departments and bank partners as needed.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or 1-3 years banking experience required
• Ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business applications
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to follow through on tasks and deadlines
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Must work well with others and be a team player
• Associate’s degree or 1-3 years banking experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Post-closing or related mortgage experience preferred
• HELOC or closing experience preferred
• Knowledge of Meridian Link and Salesforce is a plus

Responsibilities

• Verify signed closing documents are accurate and complete once a HELOC loan has closed.
• Verify trailing documents are accurate and complete after recording.
• Acquire missing documents and facilitate correction of documents as needed with bankers following closing.
• Book HELOC loans through workflow process for HELOC loans once the recission period has ended and disbursed.
• Funding disbursements for HELOC loans after the date of recission, as well as mailing disbursements to the appropriate creditor to be paid off per debts listed on the closing documents signed at closing.
• Send Credit Line Mortgage(s) and Deed of Trust(s) to the appropriate county for recording, as well facilitate the correction of documents as needed per requests communicated by the county prior to recording.
• Receive and track original signed closing document packages following closing and log incoming mail to support the HELOC department to ensure loans are Ready for Funding.
• Log recorded and trailing documents, and upload to the imaging system, Image Center for filing.
• Responsible for understanding the Bank’s policies, procedures, products and services.
• Assist with scanning and indexing documents, when needed.
• Must communicate well with internal partners for support.
• Must display excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills in performance.
• Will perform special projects as assigned.
