About The Position

This role supports the Business Banking (BB) department with a variety of administrative functions, including reporting, event planning, new hire onboarding, customer feedback management, and technology/contract administration. The position requires strong organizational and technical skills, with an emphasis on supporting senior leadership and ensuring smooth departmental operations.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • 4+ years of related job experience.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient written and verbal communications.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills.
  • Technically proficient, particularly with MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and Access.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of Business Banking terminologies, concepts, and technologies.
  • Experience in working in a regulated or audited environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze departmental sales and service reports, identifying trends and issues for review with Senior Vice President (SVP).
  • Assist BB Team Leaders with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings and calls, onboarding/offboarding colleagues, and customized sales reporting.
  • Support the SVP with internal communications and presentation decks.
  • Represent the BB department at corporate events.
  • Assist the SVP of Business Banking and senior staff with administrative duties including calendar management, meeting arrangements, tours, and travel.
  • Manage department budget for supplies, small computer equipment, repairs, and event expenses, working with Accounts Payable/Accounting.
  • Organize large department employee events throughout the year.
  • Track vacation for approximately 35 employees.
  • Manage the administrative onboarding of new Business Banking colleagues.
  • Lead new hire orientation presentations on topics like vacation requests, payroll, and facilities.
  • Handle sensitive and complex customer issues, acting as a first line of contact for branch-level concerns.
  • Respond to customer feedback, complaints, and issues received from Business Banking colleagues.
  • Share positive feedback with employees via thank you notes or On-the-Spot awards.
  • Alert the SVP to any issues requiring special attention.
  • Work with Technology to complete internal paperwork for user-rights assignments.
  • Oversee the Annual Technology User Rights Audit.
  • Administer BB vendor contracts within the Cobblestone vendor management tool.
