Consumer/Commercial Loan Officer
About The Position
The Consumer/Commercial Loan Officer is responsible for obtaining and developing a quality loan portfolio with annual performance goals while managing an existing portfolio. This role involves working with various loan types including Construction, Commercial, Agricultural, Commercial Real Estate, Consumer, and Consumer Real Estate Loans. The officer will promote BancFirst services by cross-selling banking products to new and existing clientele, participating in community events, and making outside business development calls. Consistent execution of policies and procedures, providing extraordinary customer service, and assisting with other duties and special projects are also key aspects of this position. Requirements
- Bachelors Degree preferred, but not required with appropriate commercial loan experience
- 3 years experience in Commercial Loans preferred
- Minimum 3 years experience underwriting preferred
- Experience in negotiating loan workouts and asset liquidations
- Must have ability to analyze complex financial data and write detailed credit memorandums
- Must have current working knowledge of Regulatory Compliance requirements including, but not limited to, RESPA, HMDA, and Fair Lending
- Must have ability to grow quality portfolio with annual performance goals
- Promote Retail/Cash Management products to new and existing relationships
- Work well under stress and deadlines while managing multiple tasks
- Must be able to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing
- Excellent organizational skills
- Demonstrate an independent working attitude within a team framework
- Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality is an essential function of the job
