About The Position

Clearsulting is seeking a Consulting Manager, Intercompany to join their team. This role involves partnering with senior client stakeholders to solve complex intercompany challenges, leading the delivery of intercompany transformation engagements, and directing the design and implementation of intercompany processes and technology solutions. The position also requires shaping target-state operating models, controls, data strategies, and integration approaches, as well as driving commercial and financial performance. Additionally, the role contributes to practice development by creating thought leadership and AI/automation-enabled capabilities. The position can be performed remotely or in a hybrid model, with specific in-office expectations for those within commuting distance of a Clearsulting office. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Requirements

Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
BlackLine/Alteryx/Fabric Certified
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a business-related field of study
6+ years of relevant experience in consulting and collaboration with substantial, complex clients; ideally with a specialization in intercompany accounting and operational transfer price questions
Experience with implementation of digital transformation projects with a focus on intercompany transaction processing, intercompany allocations, transaction matching, reconciliation, accounting, and reporting processes
Willingness and ability to travel

Nice To Haves

Comprehensive knowledge of transfer pricing strategy, intercompany agreements, and transfer pricing maintenance
Familiarization with implementing efficient finance processes as well as digitalization of business processes – from strategy development, concept preparation and process design to the optimization and implementation
Understanding of functional problems in internal and cross-border processes
Experience implementing capabilities in one or more of the following technologies: SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, SAP Central Finance, SAP Module FI/CO, SAP PaPM, BlackLine
Experience with System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) principles, leading practices, and execution a plus (i.e., requirements gathering, solution design and testing cycles)
Strong leadership skills and executive presence
Strong project management experience including workplan creation and updates, milestone tracking, risk management, status updates, change management, and communications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; clearly convey complex business concepts to executive audience free of grammatical errors, incorporating leading practices for business writing
Ability to maintain and enhance the Clearsulting culture – build meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues, demonstrate the Clearsulting Core Values each day

Responsibilities

Partner with senior client stakeholders to solve complex intercompany challenges and guide decision-making through clear, strategic recommendations.
Lead delivery of intercompany transformation engagements, managing scope, execution, risks, and change to achieve on-time, on-budget results.
Develop and mentor team members while fostering strong performance, accountability, and a high-quality client experience.
Direct the design and implementation of intercompany processes and technology solutions across invoicing, allocations, matching, reconciliation, settlement, accounting, and reporting.
Shape target-state operating models, controls, data strategies, and integration approaches that align with broader finance, tax, and business requirements.
Drive commercial and financial performance through pursuit support, staffing, pricing, forecasting, and margin management.
Help grow the practice by creating thought leadership, reusable tools, and AI and automation-enabled capabilities that enhance delivery and client value.
