About The Position

Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) helps Visa network clients—including issuers, merchant acquirers, and merchants—achieve tangible business and financial results. Drawing on expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, brand management, marketing, operations, and macroeconomics, VCA addresses strategic client challenges. Example project questions include how financial institutions can increase consumer credit card market share, use emerging technology to acquire customers, grow portfolios while mitigating credit risk, or optimize products, and how merchants can identify expansion opportunities or accelerate co-brand acquisitions. This is a 12-week summer internship. Interns contribute to client projects, build cross-functional relationships, and develop professional skills through workshops and mentorship. The program concludes with a presentation to Visa leaders, and includes social events. Interns work with experienced professionals to deliver consulting services to Visa clients. High-performing interns whose work aligns with Visa’s values may be considered for full-time opportunities in the Atlanta office. The role requires digital fluency, including the ability to use emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools to support everyday work. Visa requires at least three days in the office; the Hiring Manager will confirm which days. Work hours vary based on department needs, and the role requires travel 5–10% of the time. The position is performed in an office setting and involves sitting and standing at a desk, communicating in person and by telephone, and frequently using standard office equipment such as telephones and computers. Visa will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position, and future sponsorship will not be considered.
