About The Position

Avania is seeking a Consultant to join its Market Access/Reimbursements Consulting Team. This role is within a fast-growing, market-leading international market access consultancy division, focusing on supporting the development and execution of product market access strategies in the medical device and in vitro diagnostic sectors. As a Consultant, you will be responsible for developing health economic and launch strategies for cutting-edge innovations in medical devices and diagnostic products, working with both start-ups and major manufacturers across the USA and globally. This is a fast-paced, customer-oriented consulting position in a rapidly expanding industry, based in downtown Boston offices.

Requirements

• Two to three years' experience in a Consulting role
• Completed degree in pharmacology, biology, physiology or relevant discipline
• Experience in reviewing clinical peer reviewed literature and presenting synopses on the state of the science
• Strong demonstrated writing and editing experience
• Excellent consulting skills; able to negotiate, persuade, and educate clients
• Located in the Boston area and amenable to working in downtown Boston offices

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute product market access strategies in the medical device and in vitro diagnostic sectors
• Develop health economic and launch strategies for medical devices and diagnostic products
• Perform strategy assessments
• Review clinical peer reviewed literature
• Draft proposals
• Perform primary and secondary desk research
• Deliver presentations
• Engage in extensive client interactions and consulting related to the synopses of the state of the science throughout the project life cycle
