Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related.
- Five (5) years of experience in any occupation with IT experience, or related.
- Five (5) years of required IT experience, or related must include: Selenium; Object Oriented Programming Languages such as: Java, or Python; SQL; Version Control Systems such as: GIT, or SVN; Operating Systems such as: UNIX, or Linux; Jenkins or other CI/CD tool; JIRA or other test management tool.
Responsibilities
- Develop test designs based on the requirements.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
- Create Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Perform end-to-end testing for all functionalities when the code is moved from one environment to another and report any issues to respective teams.
- Gather and investigate product specifications and technical design documents to identify system requirements and create a detailed comprehensive and well-structured test strategy, test plan, test scenario, test case, test script, and bug report.
- Design, develop, and execute performance, load and automation scripts.
- Identify, record, document, and track bugs. Monitor debugging process results and perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved. Investigate causes of non-conforming software. Research, test, and verify proper functioning of software patches and fixes.
- Develop defect reports, test metrics and test closure documents.
- Track quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.
- Track progress of the test execution in the test management system and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Utilize Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) tools for development and deployment of test automation solutions.
- Provide regular test status reports to management.
- May be assigned to and provide products/support to specific industry groups such as Automotive, Banking and Finance, Healthcare, Insurance, and Information Technology.
