AlphaLab, the startup accelerator of Innovation Works, is seeking experienced external facilitators to lead its in-person, two-day 2027 AI Bootcamp in Pittsburgh. The program will bring together early-stage founders across Software, Health, and Hardware tracks, ranging from pre-seed through seed stage and from nontechnical to deeply technical. Facilitators may propose to deliver the full curriculum or specific modules, and AlphaLab may select more than one facilitator. Facilitators will deliver hands-on instruction that equips founders to use AI to run their companies, including operating agents and making AI-informed product and fundraising decisions. The baseline curriculum covers frontier model capabilities and limitations; choosing models and effort levels; core tools such as Projects and scheduled tasks; data privacy; plugins, skills, connectors, and MCP; building and installing a custom skill; agents and workflow scoping; generating artifacts; and research connectors such as Tavily and Firecrawl. Candidates may modify or replace modules if they demonstrate how founders will still acquire the target skills. Each module should produce a concrete, verifiable artifact or decision, and material should reflect the models, tools, and features available at delivery. Facilitators will collaborate with the AlphaLab team, use cohort survey results to tailor content, participate in a virtual dry run the week of February 1, 2027, and deliver the bootcamp in person in Pittsburgh on February 9–10, 2027. They will contribute reusable session materials to AlphaLab’s AI Resource Library. Facilitators retain ownership of pre-existing work; Innovation Works receives a license to reuse session materials with its portfolio through the library. Any product affiliations must be disclosed, and modules must work fully without the affiliated product and contain no sales pitches.
