About The Position

The AI Innovation Consultant will serve as a force multiplier for Epiq’s consulting team by identifying opportunities to use AI, improving how work is delivered, enhancing the quality and speed of client outcomes, and supporting consultants in adopting new tools and ways of working. The role is suited to someone who is curious about AI, enjoys experimenting with emerging technologies, and can turn innovative ideas into practical solutions. It combines analytical thinking, communication, and a willingness to learn in a rapidly evolving field.

The consultant will champion AI adoption across consulting engagements and internal operations; test and prototype AI use cases, workflows, prompts, and proof-of-concepts; and help consultants use AI tools effectively through coaching, training, reusable materials, and guidance. The role also applies analytical problem-solving to consulting processes and supports strategic planning, transformation, and technology enablement across client engagements.

The position is remote, requires authorization to work in the United States for any employer, and offers an annual compensation range of $90,000–$110,000 USD. The role may also be eligible for an annual bonus. Specific salary is determined by factors including location, qualifications, interview performance, and pay parity within the team.

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to Python or other scripting languages.
• Background in management consulting, business analysis, innovation or transformation teams, technology enablement, AI adoption or digital transformation programs, operations, strategy, or process improvement.
• Experience in legal technology is welcome but not required.
• Fresh perspectives and an AI-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Champion the adoption of Microsoft Copilot, Claude, and other emerging AI tools across consulting engagements and internal operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve the speed, quality, and depth of consulting deliverables using AI-enabled workflows.
• Partner with practice leadership to evaluate and implement AI-driven approaches to client service delivery.
• Test, evaluate, and prototype AI use cases that improve team productivity and consulting outcomes.
• Develop lightweight solutions, workflows, prompts, and proof-of-concepts that can be scaled across the practice.
• Monitor emerging AI capabilities and recommend practical business applications.
• Advise consultants on incorporating AI into their day-to-day work.
• Train, coach, and support team members in effective AI tool use and best practices.
• Create reusable assets, playbooks, templates, and guidance to increase adoption and consistency across engagements.
• Apply analytical thinking to business challenges and consulting processes.
• Work with practice leaders to identify high-value opportunities where AI can produce measurable impact.
• Support strategic planning, transformation initiatives, and technology enablement efforts across client engagements.
