Appian is seeking a Consultant to join its Customer Success team. This role involves engaging with customers post-sales to develop software solutions on the Appian platform, driving digital transformation and competitive differentiation. Consultants work throughout the entire project life-cycle to define, design, develop, and implement custom software and AI solutions for commercial clients. This includes working in an agile environment to understand client business processes and technical needs, launching new relational data models, and developing APIs for system integration. The role also involves brainstorming and implementing AI use cases using Appian’s AI tools, applying retrieval augment generation (RAG), agentic workflows, prompt engineering, and generative models. Consultants collaborate with client technical teams and business users throughout the software development life cycle and empower clients to become self-sufficient with building process applications. The position is based at Appian's HQ in McLean, VA, with an expectation of being in the office 4-5 days per week to foster in-person collaboration and teamwork.
