As a consultant, you will be a critical member of project teams, helping our clients solve complex public health and business challenges from strategy through execution. This includes conducting qualitative and qualitative data analysis, preparing and presenting well-organized, effective reports and presentations to client and internal executives, and supporting day-to-day operational meetings with clients and consulting leaders. As a Consultant, you will have an opportunity to deepen your specialized knowledge and consulting skills, with room for long-term professional growth and career development within the firm. You will work with an experienced team to support the development of client deliverables, internal and client presentations, day-to-day project logistics, and any additional project tasks. This position provides individuals the opportunity to serve clients across a wide variety of functions including technology, strategy, process improvement, analytics, informatics, communications, and project management.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree (Must still be enrolled in an accredited graduate degree program through Fall 2026 and graduate by Summer 2027)
  • Ability to adhere to on-site work schedules in the D.C. metro area as directed.
  • Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship now or anytime in the future; Students possessing F-1 or J-1 visas are excluded from interview schedules or being hired for this position.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust, Secret, or higher level of federal/government security clearance (US Citizenship is one of the requirements for security clearance).

Nice To Haves

  • Depth in commercial payer functions (e.g., claims/payment operations, payment policy, network strategy, utilization management, value-based care, risk adjustment, payment integrity/FWA)
  • Provider-side strategy/ops experience (e.g., revenue cycle, access, care coordination, clinical operations, service line strategy)
  • Experience supporting strategy, operating model, and/or performance improvement initiatives for payer/provider organizations
  • Exposure to federal health programs, including VA-related work
