About The Position

The Consultant provides specialized asset recovery services within the Unclaimed Property practice. This role manages client engagements, performs data analysis, and oversees the claim process to recover unclaimed property from state agencies and other entities. The Consultant must demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering exceptional client service. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint); advanced Excel skills required.
  • Advanced capability to analyze complex data sets and translate trends into actionable insights
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex workloads through strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Familiarity with data extraction, standardization, and analytic technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong client relationship management and service orientation.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical thinking for recovery processes.
  • Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and claim submissions.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years in asset recovery, technology, or accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Standardize and validate client data using Microsoft Excel and technology-driven solutions.
  • Identify, research, and document potentially recoverable unclaimed property using proprietary tools.
  • Conduct data analytics and organize client data through systems review and integration.
  • Generate and submit asset recovery claim forms; track and manage claims throughout the process.
  • Communicate proactively with clients regarding claim status and expectations.
  • Prepare recovery reports and funding requests in alignment with deadlines.
  • Stay current on technical developments and apply knowledge to client engagements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
