About The Position

The Partners Group (TPG) is seeking a retirement plan consulting and client relationship management professional to join their Retirement Plan team as a Consultant in Renton, WA. This role focuses on retirement plan business development and exceptional customer service, serving as a trusted advisor to clients. Responsibilities include guiding organizations on plan governance, fiduciary responsibilities, investment oversight, and long-term retirement strategy. The Consultant will work with plan committees and stakeholders to provide guidance for sound decision-making, strong participant outcomes, and high client service. The role involves building and strengthening client relationships to ensure proactive, strategic support and contribute to the growth of TPG's Retirement Planning practice. Additionally, the Consultant will play a role in participant education and engagement, helping individuals understand and maximize their retirement benefits. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing relationship management, strategic consulting, and client education, and is a proactive team player with a positive attitude, confident communication skills, and a passion for helping clients achieve their retirement goals.

Requirements

  • Active Series 65 license
  • 3-5 years of retirement plan consulting, sales, or relationship management experience
  • Strong knowledge of qualified retirement plans and fiduciary principles
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, and client relationship skills
  • Proven commitment to delivering an outstanding client experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business technology tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Series 6 or Series 7 license
  • CPFA and/or AIF designation
  • Experience delivering participant education and guidance
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field
  • Knowledge of retirement plan investments and investment analysis

Responsibilities

  • Advise retirement plan sponsors on governance, investments, and plan design
  • Build trusted relationships with retirement plan clients and committees
  • Lead participant education and retirement planning discussions
  • Collaborate with internal service teams to support client needs
  • Review investment data and present actionable recommendations
  • Develop new relationships within the Seattle retirement plan market
