The Consultant Relations Investment Analyst is part of Fidelity’s Consultant Relations team, within the Institutional Client Group. The role coordinates and responds to ad hoc investment-data requests, RFPs/RFIs, and due diligence questionnaires, often on quick turnaround timelines. It supports consultant and retirement-advisor access to Fidelity’s asset-management capabilities and helps build strong relationships with internal partners and external analysts and consultants. The analyst supplies external consultants and research analysts with detailed information about Fidelity products, including investment performance, portfolio characteristics, commentary, attribution, investment process and philosophy, and competitive advantages. The role also coordinates responses to RFPs, RFIs, and due diligence questionnaires; shares market perspectives and feedback with the Consultant Relations and Asset Management product teams; and arranges and participates in calls and onsite due diligence meetings with portfolio managers and institutional investment professionals. The Investment Consultant Relations group is within Fidelity Institutional and supports distribution of Fidelity investment capabilities to institutional channels. The team consists of 13 relationship managers and analysts. Analysts support relationship managers and collaborate across Fidelity with client relationship managers and business development professionals. Fidelity is transitioning toward a full-time onsite working model through a phased regional and role-based rollout; current onsite expectations vary and may evolve.
