About The Position

This role involves leading the design and building of major pricing and underwriting programs in Earnix. The consultant will drive best practices within Earnix, coordinating with modeling, data, and technology teams to achieve successful Earnix transformations. The ultimate goals are to increase speed to market and deploy more sophisticated models across Lines of Business (LOBs). The position requires influencing the direction and implementation of adapted country-wide initiatives, conducting high-level analyses to support strategic direction, and independently managing projects of low to moderate complexity. The consultant will present state reviews, other high complexity analyses, and results of countrywide initiatives to Product Managers. Key responsibilities include creating and maintaining rigorous data models for Earnix analytical projects and APIs, facilitating the design of Rate Order Calculations in Earnix and integration with upstream services, and coordinating planning and execution with Tech and Data Solutions teams. The role also involves enabling the business to make clear trade-offs with a reasonable view of likely outcomes and gaining hands-on experience configuring and validating pricing logic within a rating engine, including rate tables and rule execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business, Economics, Engineering [any] or related field and six [6] years of experience in the job offered or in a Consultant, Product Research-related occupation.
  • Two (2) years of experience in creating rating logic and implementing rating programs in tools including Earnix, Radar Live, or IBM Modeler.
  • Demonstrable experience in understanding of rating algorithm structures, including their components, inputs, and outputs.
  • Demonstrable experience in manipulating data using SAS, R, or Python to create summary statistics and tables including knowledge of group by and summary functions.
  • Demonstrable experience in understanding processes and tools needed to implement new rating programs into market.
  • Advanced technical abilities in Excel and PowerPoint include ability to use vlookup, index, and match functions.
  • Experience supporting or troubleshooting pricing programs post deployment.

  • Hand-on experience configuring and validating pricing logic within rating engine, including rate tables and rule execution.
