About The Position

This role involves overseeing advanced statistical/machine learning projects within the healthcare and life sciences industries. The consultant will manage multiple work streams, translating business needs into analytical problems and delivering clinically and commercially meaningful interpretations. Key responsibilities include orchestrating patient-data-based projects, leading initiatives like patient journeys and HCP targeting using IQVIA’s technology platform, configuring and customizing the platform for clients, guiding end-users, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams. The role also requires researching client business problems, proposing solutions, assisting with proposals and pitches, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and taking ownership of internal initiatives such as project automation, standardization, mentorship, recruitment, thought leadership, and team building. Deliverables will include generating insights through PowerPoint presentations for client readiness. Communication, both internally and with clients, will be conducted in writing and via phone to share workstream or project-level insights. The consultant will act as the primary point of contact for client communications.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, economics, business, engineering, mathematics, statistics, computer science, life sciences, or a related field or foreign equivalent.
Three (3) years of experience in the healthcare or life sciences industry with a focus on business cases for analytics services or products.
Three (3) years of experience managing analytics projects and priorities.
Three (3) years of experience analyzing and interpreting various types of patient level data.
Three (3) years of experience applying statistics or machine learning in healthcare or life sciences and the pharmaceutical industry in order to answer clients’ business questions.
Three (3) years of experience utilizing Jira or Zoho Service Desk to manage workstreams and tasks.
Three (3) years of experience in making presentations and business writing.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure innovative and valuable solutions.
Take ownership of internal initiatives.
Drive project automation, standardization, mentorship, recruitment, thought leadership, and team building.
Generate insights through PowerPoint to create client ready deliverables.
Communicate in writing and phone both internally and with clients to share workstream or project level insights.
Act as primary point of contact for client communications.
