The Consultant, Planning has primary responsibility for developing and maintaining processes to create and/or update strategic documents required by Fraser Health or the Ministry of Health including strategic plans, the corporate annual priorities and progress reports, and specific accountability plans directed by government. In this key role, you will support the development of Fraser Health's strategic and corporate planning and accountability processes. This includes the development and revision of Fraser Health’s Strategic Plan, development of Annual Priorities and related reporting, creation and management of processes to monitor and assess accountability plans, and the coordination, development, and roll-out of Objectives and Outcome Measures. You will also develop presentations and other engagement and communication approaches, lead or facilitate planning processes, provide coaching and consultation on strategic planning best practices, and maintain and update the strategic planning process, tools, and templates. Additionally, you will prepare planning analyses, reports, environmental scans, and contribute to recommendations for strategic decision-making. You will work with other Fraser Health departments and utilize external data to stay informed about population health and service utilization, and maintain contacts with other health authorities to identify trends. You will also provide progress monitoring and reporting and perform other related duties as assigned.
