Locum Consultant in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care
About The Position
The Medical Specialist Group (MSG) is seeking a GMC Specialist Registered Consultant Anaesthetist to join their team as a locum. This is a full-time substantive replacement post within a consultant-delivered service. The role involves teamwork with surgical colleagues to provide high-quality perioperative and anaesthetic care. The successful candidate will work flexibly across various anaesthetic sessions, requiring experience in a wide breadth of anaesthetic practice and intensive care. There is an opportunity to incorporate subspecialty interests in anaesthesia and perioperative medicine, as well as opportunities in quality improvement, leadership, and management roles.
Requirements
- GMC Specialist Registered Consultant Anaesthetist.
- Full GMC registration.
- On the UK GMC Specialist Register for Anaesthesia or be within 6 months of obtaining this at the time of interview.
- Experience across a wide breadth of anaesthetic practice.
- Experience in intensive care.
- Demonstrates clinical excellency.
- Good communicator.
- Shares values of long term partnerships.
