About The Position

WPP is seeking Growth Consultants to collaborate with Senior Directors and sales teams to understand client businesses, identify growth drivers and barriers, and advocate for WPP’s modern marketing approach. This role is crucial in designing and delivering compelling solution showcases and tailored proposals that highlight how WPP Open’s AI-powered capabilities accelerate client growth and deliver measurable value. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to the modernization of client marketing through AI, leveraging experience and gaining exposure across Media, Creative, Production, and Experience. The consultant will translate client insights into actionable information for Client Success and Enablement teams, ensuring a smooth transition to client delivery. The role reports to a Senior Director of Growth Consulting and involves close collaboration with WPP’s Central and Agency growth teams, WPP Open direct sales teams, and key WPP clients.

Requirements

  • An analytical mindset, able to approach issues and challenges from multiple perspectives
  • Demonstrated interest and foundational understanding of product growth methodologies
  • Familiarity with Ad Tech, MarTech, and the application of AI in marketing
  • Understanding of Advertising / Marketing / Media data
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new business environments and client challenges
  • A natural desire to share knowledge, collaborate, and contribute to team success
  • Communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex ideas
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional, and multi-location team environment

Responsibilities

  • Working alongside Senior Directors and client teams to analyse client business opportunities, identifying areas for strategic application of WPP Open capabilities.
  • Developing client-specific proposals and presentations that clearly articulates WPP Open's unique value proposition and its relevance to client objectives.
  • Coordinating and actively contributing to the creation of compelling prototypes, tailored demonstrations, and impactful solution showcases addressing specific client use cases and scenarios.
  • Collaborating closely with direct sales Account Executives to prepare for and actively participate in value-consultative sales discussions for WPP Open.
  • Translating client insights and identified value from the sales cycle into clear, actionable information for Client Success and Enablement teams, facilitating a smooth transition from sales to delivery of WPP Open solutions.
  • Staying well-informed on the latest WPP Open features, emerging AI advancements, and broader market trends to proactively identify and support new growth opportunities for clients.
  • Assisting in the development of strategic positioning and compelling messaging for WPP Open, ensuring strong alignment with evolving client needs and market opportunities.
  • Working collaboratively with the pricing and partnerships teams to provide necessary support in developing appropriate commercial models and fostering strategic alliances for WPP Open solutions.
  • Actively contributing to the achievement of team and WPP Open’s revenue growth targets by driving impactful client engagement and supporting the development of innovative solutions.
